T. 'Ty'

Description: Bulbous base with curly, textured leaves. Can reach up to 10" in height. Leaves are green with silver sheen due to trichomes. The bracts are soft pink to light red when blooming. Small flowers emerge violet or purple in color.

Hybrid Plant created from crossing Tillandsia ehlersiana and Tillandsia bulbosa. This plant was originally hybridized by Redy Bond and named after Rainforest Flora co-founder Paul "Ty" Isley, III.
